Poppy Riot Collection
This collection uses bold statement necklaces made from spray painted laser cut acrylic to offset the softness and delicateness of a floral poppy print.
In a bid to throw light on the strength of femininity and nature by combining a delicate bloom such as a Poppy flower with a hard industrial material such as acrylic plastic and spray paints in neon and black, often associated with street art and rebellious graffiti.
I was inspired by the feminist protest punk rock and performance art group Pussy Riot.
