The Kingdoms of Costar have been ravaged by a deadly plague and only a few survive, but there is something special about these individuals. They all have one thing in common, that they are all descendants of a long lost magical race. Rigan, one survivor from a small coastal town, travels south in search of her younger siblings. During her journey she encounters other survivors, some are good whilst others are not. With the help of handful of fellow magical people, Rigan searches for the little twins and discovers that the plague did not occur naturally, it was unleashed deliberately. An exciting, adventure filled story about survival, friendship and community. Suitable for readers ages 13 and up.
